The Way Men Talk
Have you ever noticed that when two or more men gather to talk, they stand in a row, side-by-side, looking out in the same direction? I have always wondered about this behavior and how it differs from the way women talk with each other. Women normally stand face to face or in a circle and chat. Anyone have any ideas?

its actually quite simple. If we stood and looked at each other while we talked, we would not be able to look at all of the pretty women out there. Seriously though, we are sharing experiences and not our space, so if a guy stands head on and talks to you, it becomes a confrontation. IMHO/YMMV
Thanks for the comment! Your answer makes sense. Women apparently do not feel threatened by face-to-face encounters or by sharing their space. Does a man feel threatened by a face-to-face encounter with a woman?
I guess that would depend on the woman. It would also depend on the relationship between the man and the woman. I can't speak for anyone other than myself on this, but I don't think the man feels threatened as much as he has to decide whether to defend himself or not. (ha-ha) Everyone is different and each situation is different. I think it can be awkward if a woman is bold enough to come on to a man, when he is not interested, but the same women have not learned what men had to learn, No means NO! Sometimes they just won't quit....
From my experience around men, I feel they stand that way so they aren't making eye contact. It is easier this way, to lie. I'm not saying it is all men, cause I am sure that there has to be atleast one honest one out there.
Renee, men don't lie to each other, only to women... (thats a joke) We only embellish the truth, some just seem to embellish it more aptly than others.........

You mean like when men tell each other fish stories? As for men embellishing the truth, in my experience, some of them are just very experienced liars who wouldn't recognize the truth should it smack them in their faces.
